Terms and Conditions for Private Tuition:

  1. Teacher's Responsibilities: The language teacher will be responsible for providing quality instruction, preparing lesson materials, and addressing the student's learning needs to the best of their abilities.

  2. Student's Responsibilities: The student is responsible for actively participating in the learning process and completing any assigned homework or practice exercises.

  3. Cancellation Policy: A 24-hour notice is required for any lesson cancellation. If the student fails to provide a minimum of 24-hour notice, the full lesson fee will be charged.

  4. Rescheduling Policy: Lessons that have been rescheduled once cannot be rescheduled again. In case of any exceptional circumstances, rescheduling may be considered at the discretion of the language teacher.

  5. Missed Lessons and Make-up Policy: In the event the language teacher needs to cancel a lesson, the student will be offered a make-up lesson at a mutually agreed-upon time. If the language teacher is unable to provide a make-up lesson, a refund or credit for the missed lesson will be offered.

  6. Late Arrivals: The language teacher will wait for the student for up to 15 minutes from the scheduled lesson start time. If the student arrives later than 15 minutes, the lesson will be considered canceled, and the full lesson fee will still be charged.

  7. Package of Lessons: When purchasing a package of lessons, the student and the language teacher will agree upon a date by which all the lessons in the package must be taken. Any unused lessons after the agreed date will be forfeited, and no refunds will be provided for unused lessons.

  8. Payment: Payment for each lesson is due on the day of the lesson. Acceptable payment methods will be communicated by the language teacher.

  9. Lesson Duration: Each lesson will have a specified duration, typically ranging from 45 minutes to 1 hour, as agreed upon between the student and the language teacher.

  10. Termination of Lessons: Either the student or the language teacher may terminate the private tuition arrangement with a minimum of two weeks' notice. If the student decides to terminate the lessons before completing a package, any unused lessons will be forfeited, and no refunds will be provided.

  11. Respectful Communication: Both the student and the language teacher are expected to communicate with each other in a respectful and professional manner. Any concerns or issues should be addressed promptly and constructively.

  12. Safety and Security: Private tuition sessions will be conducted in a safe and appropriate environment, either in person or through secure online platforms.

  13. Use of Personal Information: Any personal information provided by the student will be treated with strict confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of the language teaching services.

  14. Intellectual Property: All teaching materials, resources, and content provided by the language teacher during the private tuition remain the intellectual property of the language teaching business and must not be reproduced or distributed without explicit permission.

Terms and Conditions for Group Tuition:

  1. Minimum Enrollment: A group tuition session will open only when a minimum of three students have enrolled for the course.

  2. Group Cancellation: If the minimum required number of students (three) is not met, the group tuition session may be canceled. In such cases, enrolled students will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the group tuition.

  3. Enrollment Deadline: There will be a specified enrollment deadline for each group tuition session. Students must enroll before the deadline to secure their spot in the group.

  4. Payment: Payment for group tuition must be made in full before the commencement of the first session. Payment details and accepted methods will be provided by the language teaching business.

  5. Attendance: Regular attendance is expected from all students participating in the group tuition. If a student misses a session, there will be no refund or rescheduling for that specific session.

  6. Group Dynamics: The language teaching business reserves the right to maintain a balanced and constructive group dynamic. In exceptional cases, a student may be transferred to another suitable group or offered an alternative arrangement at the discretion of the language teacher.

  7. Curriculum: The language teaching business will provide details of the curriculum, materials, and schedule for the group tuition in advance.

  8. Behavioral Guidelines: All students must maintain respectful and appropriate behavior during group tuition sessions. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the group without refund.
